Sixth Sunday of Easter, Year B: "The Lord has revealed to the nations his saving power."
  • God of life and love, bless the mothers of our community.  Sustain them by your spirit; bless them with joy, love, laughter and pride in their children, and surround them with many good and supportive friends.  We pray this through Jesus the Lord. Amen.

New Missal Resources: Information regarding the ordering of new missals is available on a separate sheet at church doors for those interested.  Having read this notice, if you have already placed an order with the parish and wish to proceed with your order, please phone the Parish Office to confirm.

  • The Year of Grace, which begins on Pentecost Sunday 27 May, has its website up and running, with rich offerings.  There is a short video to introduce the Year of Grace, a Prayer section, a monthly e-Bulletin, and an Encounter Jesus section with a video entitled "Who so you say I am?"  The website is: www.yearofgrace.catholic.org.au

St Vincent de Paul Society: Local Society members are grateful to those parishioners who showed interest in the Society last weekend.  Don't forget the information evening this coming Tuesday 15 May, at 7.00pm, in the Parish Centre.  Even if you didn't record your name last week but are interested, please come along. 

  • Caritas: To-date the Parish has forwarded $10,754.00 to Caritas Australia from Lenten Project Compassion.  There is still some money to be sent on to Caritas.  We sincerely thank the many parishioners who have once again generously supported Project Compassion and the life-giving projects it funds in many regions of the world.

150 years 1863 - 2013 - Planning for the Sesquicentenary of the Catholic Church in the Shoalhaven:  Historical photos & newspaper clippings relating to various aspects of Parish Life over the years would be most appreciated.  You can either - scan and forward the photos to the parish on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or post/deliver to the Parish office where the photo will be scanned and returned to you.  Please collect a copy of the First News Report from the Meetings to date.

  • Sign up for the new monthly Diocesan Faith & Life e-Newsletter focussing on all things Catholic.  It's a great resource for those involved in Church ministries.  In addition to feature articles each month, the eNewsletter contains regular articles: Liturgy Notes (eg music and psalms); Calendar of events & Activities; Ten Questions with a Catholic engaged in an inspiring minintry; Resource Spotlight; Ministry Profile; Links & Resources; and Helpful Hints.
