People with Coeliac are advised there is a suitable Communion Host available for them in our churches. The host is placed in a pyx on the altar for consecration and is kept separate from regular hosts in the ciborium at the time of distribution. Fr Pat and Fr Duane have been consecrating these hosts for Coeliacs for the last few years. All you need to do is tell Father before Mass and he will see that your host is available for you to receive. If you would like more information, please contact Patricia Bourke 0433 509 636.
The Catholic bishops of Australia have announced a National Prayer Campaign for the gift of rain during November.
The faithful across the country are encouraged to pray for the gift of rain, for people affected by the drought and to provide practical support, where possible.

Prayer for rain and those affected
In wisdom and love you created our earth to sustain us and give us life.
We turn to you now in faith, hope and love, asking you to look with favour on our drought-stricken land,
on our starving animals, on our failing crops.
Strengthen, sustain and give new heart to our farmers and to all who are affected by drought; be with
those who support them.
In your loving providence, send abundant rain and restore our parched earth.
Father of all compassion, hear our prayer through Jesus Christ your Son, in whom the promise of new
life has dawned, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord the giver of life: Renew your
faithful people; Renew the face of the earth.
Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Mary, help of Christians – Pray for us.
St Mary of the Cross MacKillop – Pray for us.
Catholic Mission is organising an immersion for adults to TIMOR in May 2020 and you are invited to join the group. At this time, we are calling for expressions of interest from people who would like to be considered as possible participants. The number of participants on the immersion will be limited. All applicants will be considered, and a final group selected. The group will be accompanied and led by an accredited Catholic Mission facilitator. This 10-day immersion experience starts and finishes in Sydney. All costs are covered except personal purchases. Catholic Mission will present a preparation workshop prior to departure, time and date to be advised. Please note, dates may change slightly so as to work in with our host community in Timor.
